The people who have interest in latest car concepts might check Hyundai i-oniq concept car.
However, for those who didn’t have any idea about this concept , I’ m
going to describe this wonderful bold concept. Actually the sketch of
this concept was given at the end of last year but that sketch was not
enough for obtaining the complete understanding of this concept.
Nevertheless, this vague picture becomes clear at Geneva Motor Show as
at this show, we get a chance to view i-oniq concept car prototype.
When the company uncovers this concept car then I get inspire from the
exterior design but one thing which needs a revision is the front end of
the car which is not quite appealing for a person like me. This 14.4
feet long concept car has the enough room for 4 persons. This concept
reflects both traditional and future technologies to the viewer.
It is mentioned by Korean Manufacturer that the interior design is
nothing but an inspiration from the shape of musical instruments.
Another thing which is stated by the company is that concept car is
fitted with a ‘penthouse roof’ and we need more clarification
regarding this roof technology. There is a possibility that the company
gave a fancy name to glass roof ; nothing is certain at this point.
At the end, you need to know about the powertrain of Hyundai i-Oniq.
Just like 2012 other concept cars, this concept car is get the power
from the hybrid drivetrain comprising of a 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder
gasoline engine that works as a generator for lithium ion batteries .
These batteries provide fuel to electric motor. When you go for
electric-only mode then through the car you car cover a range of 75
miles (120 km). On the other hand, you can travel up to 435 miles while
relying on generator engine.
