MotoGP records that are still held by Valentino Rossi

 Rossi announced his decision to retire from MotoGP after the 2021 season in a press conference ahead of the Styria MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Thursday (5/8) night. The racer who was born in Urbino, Marche, Italy on February 16, 1979, began to pursue the world of racing since the age of five. His talent is considered special by winning various regional and national titles at a very young age.


His prowess led Honda to propose to him in 2000, after appearing in the 125cc class in 1996-1997 and 250cc in 1998-1999. The 125cc class title in 1997 and the 250cc class title in 1999 brought him to the spotlight. In his debut season in the Grand Prix primary class, Rossi immediately made senior racers nervous. Even Kenny Roberts Jr., who won the 500cc world title in the 2000 season, competed with Rossi several times. The Doctor's name is even more taken into account. In the course of his career Rossi then won nine Grand Prix world titles, the last time he won in 2009.
